"What are the sleeping arrangements?"

Students will be assigned to male only and female only RVR cabins (mostly bunkbed style). 2-4 adult leaders (male leaders in the boys cabin and female leaders in the girls cabin) are placed in each of the cabins to host our students, lead devotionals/discussions, and direct the students throughout our retreat.

"How many adults will attend?"

We will have a ratio of 1 adult leader to every 10 students. We value discipleship at Grace Covenant Church, so our adult leaders not only chaperone, but also build relationships with the students, minister to them, pray with them, love them the way Christ would, and help them have fun at camp.

"With campgrounds being so big, I'm worried my student will end up walking around by themselves, I don't want them to get lost." Neither do we. One of our 'Camp Rules' is that no student is allowed to walk around by themselves. We go over this rule, and a few others, in detail during our opening night.

"Food arrangements?" Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is provided for our students as a part of the Registration Fee for Camp Collide. If your student has severe food allergies, please indicate them in the registration form.

"How can I reach my child during the weekend?" Your student will be allowed to have their cell phones at all times during camp, however they may not be used during service times. We encourage students to fully engage in sessions, and camp activities throughout the retreat.

"Should they pack snacks?" You may pack additional snacks for in between meal times if desired.

"Do you have packing recommendations?" The packing list will be sent to parents along with your registration confirmation email!

"Is there a dress code?" We ask parents/guardians to please review the Dress Guidelines with students for attending Grace Youth Services & Events listed below. A Copy will also be In your confirmation email.

DRESS CODE

Grace Covenant Church has determined a specific standard of dress for all students/attendees, including our leaders. We strive to create an environment that is safe and fun for all attendees. With all of us working together to uphold this standard, we hope to maintain a focus on what truly matters. This is an advanced notice so that students/leaders/attendees can dress accordingly. While our staff works hard to enforce our standard of dress, we try not to make it our only focus.
